Different versions of HTC Sapphire
Please Note: There are two different versions of the HTC Sapphire
a HTC version with PVT32A, 288MB RAM, and HTC software additions such as Exchange support, PDF Viewer, and ?QuickOffice. (PVT32A)
a Google version with PVT32B, 192MB RAM and 'Google' branding. (PVT32B)
IMPORTANT: These versions require different boot images and wireless lan kernel modules - so you need to determine which one of these you have before you go installing new roms.
To determine which rom you have, please Power off your phone (hold power for a couple of seconds and select Power Down) - once off hold down the Back button and Press Power. This will drop you into Fastboot mode and the top of the screen should have all of your ROM information, including which PVT you have, SPL and Radio versions. Note this down and make sure you use roms that are designed for this version.
