A(1):Fix is simple. Those of us with HTC Task Manager installed have it on the exclusions list. Just remove it, and it will close when you hit the X button as well as show up on the open programs list if you don't close it.
Open a Registry Editor
HKCU / Software / HTC / Task Manager / Exclusive list / System
Delete "CommManager."
Soft reset.

A: When you set up the account, leave the "m" off so you are @gmail.co and then you can change all the settings by hand. Just remember to fix the address after you do the whole account setup.

A: A Cab file is used to install programs on a Windows Mobile device. Simply copy the file to the device and run it. This is usually accomplished by selecting it in File Explorer or a similar program.

A: Unplug the phone from the computer, delete the old partnership in WMDC and plug the phone back in.

A: Simple Answer:NO!
Complex Answer: While you do not need to reinstall HardSPL, unless you installed the Stock SPL, There are different versions of HardSPL out there. Look in the first few posts of a ROM thread and see if the chef recommends a specific HardSPL. If they do you can install that if you wish.

A: When your Device boots for the first time, WAIT FOR THE 3 SECOND COUNTDOWN and stick your stylus into the reset hole located at the bottom of the tilt next to the USB/Charger Port before these 3 seconds pass. That’s it. When device resets, the AT&T bloatware will be gone.

A: If you want to increase the sensitivity of the touch screen, I recommend setting the registry key (HKLM\Drivers\?TouchPanel\Pressure Threshold) to 5000. It may seem a little high, but the response time is practically instant, and very little pressure required (still enough to avoid accidental presses).
