Current status of linux port to Universal hardware

Summary

The 2.6.12-un0 kernel boots with a modified haret version, it has rotation enabled frame buffer to run with the landscape VGA console (640x480). You can boot linux with the root filesystem on

ramdisk
ramdisk + nfs over usbnet connection
MMC/SD card (<=1GB) partition

You can run an X server, gpe or opie with limited functionality.

If everything goes well this will probably not destroy your Windows Mobile installation.

Accept that it may damage your device, and we don't take any responsibility.
