I have not tried this ROM, as I am in the USA and I have no need for, nor can I read or use a German ROM, but from the thread, it seems to be very nice. I have a review by Engersen that this ROM is almost completely German, except for the Help Files, so many thanks to him for the info!
I had a very good experience with this ROM from S.V.I. . Its quite stable, and has a PLETHORA of programs pre-installed, so it is not for the minimalist.
AMP ROM v2 WM6.1 OS 5.2.19209 Vanilla/Professional
I am personally not a big fan of the AMP series of ROMs. They always seem to have more problems for me than they are worth, but it is really up to you as to how you like the ROM or not.
This is an EXCELLENT ROM based off of the early leaked DIAMOND build. Its has A TON of the DIAMOND programs and menus ported over, and looks great. It is called SNN because it rarely requires the use of the stylus in day to day use. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
TNT.20273 Series "BETA" (Vanilla/Official/Professional)
BY FAR the most used ROM here at XDA-Devs, and my personal favorite. The TNT series is highly regarded as the most stable family of ROMs, and is often the most updated. It is currently in Stable Beta 3, and is GREAT in my eyes. It is loaded with great and useful programs, and is VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
IWT - Mameli 1.0 - WM6.1 build 19209 - THE ONLY ONE ITALIAN WM6.1 ROM
While I have not used it, I do know that it is the only Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM with the Italian language files pre-loaded. Judging by the thread, it seems to be quite stable and fast.
The first ROM based off of the HTC DIAMOND. While the other DIAMOND ROMs have come along way, this one is kind of stuck in limbo. It is fast and stable, but hasn't been updated in a while.
STORM NO.3 FROM PDAVIET.NET: Rom 19213 full and clean
This is one of the older DIAMOND based ROMs, and in my opinion, not one of the better ones. I had bad experiences with this one personally. I have had other people tell me that it works great for them, so go figure. This ROM however does include the very nice Windows Vista theme pre-installed, so it is one of the better looking ROMs out there, as well as a plethora of programs.
Ahh, the old Black Diamond TOUCH ROM. If you WANT to use the touch screen, then there is no better ROM for you. This is a VERY old build, but as far as I can find, this is the newest build here. It still works well for what it is, and it has a great track record for stability.
Another old standby, this is one of the better, standard(IE, non DIAMOND) 6.1 ROMs. It has got a great program list, nothing not needed or strange, and a wonderfull amount of free RAM at boot. Support has been discontinued in favor of S.V.I.'s newer HORNET series.
XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 FINAL - Full and Lite versions
This is another one of the OLD standbys. It has an ANCIENT build number, but it is more or less the "official" XDA-Developers ROM. Still good for what it is, but there are newer builds available.
Now THIS is a ROM that I DID NOT have a good time with. I found this release to really lack polish, and it may have just been a bad flash, but it locked up, reset, refused to change options etc etc for me when I had it flashed to my Wizard.

NOW, I CANNOT confirm ANYTHING about this ROM, as I have not heard ANYTHING about it...it was available here at one time, but for whatever reason the thread was deleted. You can find it on the PDA-Viet forums, but I dont know where, the link is to the thread that its in, but I dont know where the download link is.

So far this is the only ROM that supports the leaked TouchFlo 2D from the HTC Opal. It includes it within the EXT. ROM, and it runs quite well. It is on the slower side because of TF2D, but some overclocking can fix that in a second!

Wow, I didnt think that their would ever be a true challenger to TNTs throne, but here it is folks. Apart from S.V.I.'s HORNET series, this has got to be one of the most full featured ROMs out there. Its got Manilla 2D built in, and it optimized accordingly for it. It has also got most of the HTC Opal programs and hacks pre-installed. It IS the definitive complete TF2D ROM in my opinion.

Another GREAT ROM that includes Manilla 2D. Its got one of the coolest bootscreen animations that I have ever seen, and is SUPER smooth as far as M2D is concerned. The only reason why it gets half a point knocked off(4.0 instead of 4.5) is because of the older build number(19588), which is the cookers choice I know, but if this was 20273, it would most definately be a 4.5!
The man, the legend, the ROM god has done it again! I don't understand how, but S.V.I has improved his HORNET series TREMENDOUSLY in this release! This newest ROM comes in two versions, one with Windows Live, and one without....which is a feature that many have always wanted, but few cooks have ever delivered. He has also managed to remove over 300 useless files from the Windows folder, which makes boot time, folder switching time, everything loads faster...simply because Windows doesnt have to load all of those files anymore! The only downside that I can find is that the customization at the begining is quite long, but it is worth it people! The only other ROM besides TNT to get a 5 out of 5!
