vox_sdcardflashing

Flash ROM/Radio from SD-Card

Disclaimer

Nobody here on xda-developers.com will take responsibility for the mistakes YOU make for bricking your device. You should also know that flashing a new ROM to your Vox can be a problem if you want to make use of your warranty. Make sure you read the steps below very careful.

Steps

1) Once you have all the files you need, either from the kitchen or from prepackaged ROMs (they can be extracted with WinRAR), open the folder which contain files like flash.exe and a *.nbh file. Now rename the *.nbh file to vox0img.nbh.

Rename this file to vox0img.nbh!

2) Now make sure your MicroSD-Card is formated as FAT32! Just FAT will not work. If not put them in a card reader and format or use WM5Torage and access from Windows Explorer -> right click -> format.

This has to be FAT32 (German Windows, but it's the same in English)!

3) Now copy the vox0img.nbh to your MicroSD-Card.

4) Restart your phone this way
  1. Turn it off
  2. Hold down the Camera button
  3. Plug in the power cord
5) Now you will see the following screen

Press the Power button on top of the phone. It will start flashing.

6) The following screens may or may not appear, depending on the ROM (with or without Radio/Splash). No user input is required.

7) Now your phone will reboot and you are done flashing!
